Background
Devin Moore grew up in Naples, Florida, and attended Naples High School, where he played defensive back. A four-star recruit, the 2022 All-American Bowl selected him to play. He originally committed to Notre Dame before flipping to Florida. Injuries defined his early career: a shoulder injury in 2022, a concussion and back issue in 2023, and another shoulder injury in 2024 all limited his availability; he did not play a full season until his senior year. When healthy, the talent was obvious. As a starter in 2024, he had his best season in 2025, playing in all 12 games and showcasing the length, ball-tracking, and physicality that marked him as a five-star recruit from high school. He declared for the 2026 NFL Draft.
Physical Attributes
There is a rumor that before a small groin injury in the early draft process, Moore ran a 40 in the 4.3s. If that is true, that is insane, and that he tested to this level at all shows what kind of athlete he is. Looking at the tape, 4.3 would not surprise me either. He moves so well in a straight line, and when asked to run more curvilinear routes. He can change direction very well for someone his size and does not have much wasted movement in his game. For someone as big as him, it might surprise you the level of strength he has, not poor by any means, but he could use some upper body days.

Look, I will make this quick. That is a solid radar chart. His film, good if not outstanding. All that matters here is his health. Do you believe in the raw potential on offer, that only got its first run of games without injury this year, or not? I am usually a big believer in the year after the injury, so I think we could look back at a huge steal here.
Grade and Outlook
Guys who are built like this and move like this do not grow on trees. If he has his medicals clear out, he is worth taking an early risk, and if not, still worth it. That is kind of all that matters in this evaluation.
