2025 Conference Championship Prospect Watch
As we all predicted the Big Ten championship is the host of the game of the century. A conference full of so many football powers, it cannot be that surprising that we are seeing a #1 vs #2 matchup. Though as everyone knows, it is special because one of the single worst power conference schools of all time, INDIANA, is one half of the equation. After the NFL draft I think I may have to do an investigation into just how Curt Cignetti got Indiana to this perch and so quickly, because not only is it super interesting, but I have an inkling that it may show how in the future of college football the single most important part of any team, is.... its analytics. Who would have thought I would have said that, me of all people!
Anyways, this will most likely be my last schedule of the year, I may do another for the playoff games because it is easier to track who is actually playing, but bowl games are essentially impossible. I am in the process of submitting a project to the NFL Big Data Bowl that is due December 17th and think I have a pretty cool idea to illustrate, and I will show it here once I can. That being said, it is occupying all my free time, so doo not expect anything right now outside of maybe a schedule.
In the new year I will bring back my prospect grading series, and will do the deep dive analytics and film based reviews I did over the summer. I will start with player who are actually done playing and then add in ones who finish later. So I do not think my Fernando Mendoza update will be out until late January at the earliest.
Ok, onto the packed four game schedule!
Check out my new NFL QB stat LEAF, and its visualizer! Writing explaining what it is to come...
